Should we move the server to an other site or not?

To finance the maintenance of the server is quite problematical, so i think we should consider to move it into the cellar of my house. Before making our decision we should focus on the adventages and the disadventages first.

Lets begin with the disadventages:

The cellar is not air conditioned, which may cause difficulties especially in summer, but it can not be seen in forward.
We need to purchase an uniterruptible power suple (UPS) which is around 15000 Ft. (but this cost only appears on the ballance once)
There isn't an operator who can switch on the server in case of a game crash when noone is at home in my family. (This can be solved by some programming if we have a UPS and a wake-up-on LAN function to start the system.)
There isn't a fire service system.
The speed of the internet would (only) be halved. - thanks for the internet supplier (ISP) in our district.
The IP address of the server would be changed.

The adventages:

The maintenance cost would be only the third of the present cost:
- The cost of a permanent IP address is 2 880 Ft per month.
- I would pay the half of the internet suubscription fee which is 4 500 Ft a month, so it would be an additional 2250 Ft cost for the clan members.
- The maintenance of the server would arise my monthly electricity bill by about 3000 Ft (I have a consumption meter, so it can be measured precisely.)
It wouldn't disturb the peace of our family life in the cellar.
If there is something wrong with the hardware, we needn't go to Budapest to fix it.
The domain of the server wouldn't change.

Before making a rash and thouhtless decision, I think we should test the system on an other computer. At the moment I haven't got a permanent IP address, but there is a solution to make the test server available. I can attach the electricity consumption meter to it, so we can see how much the electricity cost approximately would be.The ping could be checked on the test server as well.

My present internet speed can be seen below. It is a 30/20 Mbit/s subscription. If we move the server to my cellar, it would be recommended to change to a 50/25 MBit/s connection. The 30/20 connection would be adequate for testing, since the speed of the net is far faster then it is set in the contract.
